Good Change or Bad Change?

The economy is a scary, fluctuating thing these days and a main concern of most Americans. It’s difficult to know who the right person will be to get us out of this economic rut. All the polls and media shout Obama, Obama! But is his “change” what we really need?
Senator Obama’s economic plan, often called “redistributing the wealth,” acts as a sort of Robin Hood by taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Put simply, Obama just wants to take money from people who work hard to earn it, and then give it to someone else. I don’t know about you, but I want to keep and manage the money I take the time and energy to earn.
Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying we should leave the struggling out in the cold, but there are plenty other alternative ways to help people out without taking money from those who’ve earned it. Those people have climbed their own ladder, and should reap the benefits of their successes.
John McCain takes a different approach than Obama’s “redistribution” by perfecting budgeting and government spending in a more organized and logical manner. There is no taxing big businesses that are the ones that take the risks, contribute the greatest to the American economy, and offer the majority of American jobs.
So Robin Hood, please rest easy. America can take care of itself without the government smearing its grimy hands all over it.
Obama also seems to have delusions of grandeur about his reforms on medical care, and calls for free medical care for all Americans. Sounds a bit too much like socialized medicine, no? The government will then control our medical resources and the costs.
The government? Wait…why is the government everywhere? Isn’t the government responsible for the mess our economy is in right now and our enormous debt? Do we really want them running our medical care, too? If they can’t handle their own drama in the White House, they shouldn’t start messing with our health.
Senator McCain’s plan is to instead lower medical costs, lower medical taxes, and stop insurance fraud. It’s simple and easy. No wads of cash or government interference needed.
Obama plans to help families by giving a tax credit up to $1,000, but behind all his eloquent speeches, he remains dumb about where he’s going to get the money for this fairy-tale sweet plan. Please keep your feet on the ground, Obama—America isn’t some fantastic playground for you to dabble in dreams.
McCain is instead focused on reality such as lowering gas prices. McCain wants America to stop being so dependent on foreign oil and start finding alternative energy solutions. This not only means lower gas prices, but also fatter wallets and more consumer freedom All this will stimulate our lagging economy.
Obama will definitely bring change. There’s no doubt in that. Let’s just hope it’s not in compromised America.

Here’s the real difference between Obama and McCain:
Obama wants to get out of Iraq and save the economy.
McCain wants to stay in Iraq and destroy the economy.
(sarcastically speaking) Yeah, McCain is really the better candidate for the job..
“If it quacks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, and it walks like a duck, then it’s a duck. McCain is quacking, talking, and walking like George Bush,” said Biden.
Enough said.
“If it quacks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, and it walks like a duck, then it’s a duck. McCain is quacking, talking, and walking like George Bush,” said Biden.
Apply this to Obama.
Obama wants to redistribute wealth, taking from the richest and giving to the poorest. Essentially, he is taking from “each according to his ability to each according to his need.” That is a quote from Karl Marx that fits perfectly in with Obama’s “redistribution”.
Therefore by your logic, “If it quacks like a duck, and it talks like a duck, then it’s a duck. Obama is quacking, talking, and walking like Karl Marx.” -Me
anonymous, says McCain wants to destroy the economy? Please! Omaba Hood wants to take our money and give to those who don’t pay ANY taxes. He calls it fairness, I call it socialism. McCain wants to stay in Irak? McCain wants to make sure we leave in victory. Obama opposed the surge. Imagine what Irak would look like now?
obama 4 the win!
what victory??? You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about, Galdamez!
And if we continue to stay in Iraq (yeah, it’s spelled with a q), we will continue to lose trillions of dollars that should be used to better our schools, environment, and the economy.
Get your facts straight.
Hey i agree, we are spending way to much on the war in Iraq. But Obama is definetly not going to solve that problem by pulling everyone out. He says on his cmapagin website that Biden and he will “push Iraq’s leaders to take responsibility”. Yeah right. They kill there own people, and leave them poor and out in the streets. Do they honestly think they will take responsibilty for that? They haven’t so far. So Obama is going to sit down and have a nice cup of tea with them and evrything will be ok? Right.
We need to keep this country safe, do i think we need to be spending as much money as we are? of course not. But Obama is not the anwser either.
Well McCain is not going to give this country good change. He is very, very similar to George Bush, if not identical. He has the same beliefs and doesn’t plan to do anything different. Now on the other hand, we have Obama who plans to do everything different than George Bush AND John McCain.
If you’re content with the economy and all its problems, vote for McCain. If you want to see real change, vote Obama.
McCain never talks about what he plans to do if elected president. All he does is attack Obama!! For once, can he talk about himself rather than try to get everyone to hate Obama…really, it isn’t working..
Obama’s “plan” is to take money from the middle class and give it to the people who are too lazy or not educated enough to get a job. For the most part, everybody at FVHS is middle class. So we are losing money if Obama is president. In this respect, McCain is the better Candidate
who cares if it’s called “redistribution?” who cares if it’s called “socialism”? “stiumulate the lagging economy?” let me tell you something, dear.
“McCain’s plan would increase the debt by $5 trillion on top of the $2.3 trillion increase that the Congressional Budget Office forecasts for the next decade”
“Obama’s tax plan would boost the debt by $3.5 trillion by 2018″
you think we’re spending too much money? so maybe we can’t find a candidate who will get us out of our national debt, but at least we wouldn’t be ADDING AS MUCH TO IT if we voted for Obama.
i suppose you’d like a source.

Doesn’t matter now.
He’s been elected President.
