On November 7, 2008 at Orange Coast College, the Barons and Chargers met to play in the most intense high school rivalry in Orange County: the Battle of the Bell. Despite a great fight, the Barons fell again for the 4th consecutive time to the Chargers, 14-7.

Edison obviously doesn’t suck, since they’ve beat us way more times than we’ve beat them. Don’t get me wrong, I wish that that weren’t the case, but it is.

I still can’t believe we lost. We really shouldn’t have. Fountain Valley truly deserved the win this year.
I think the game was a joke a we should of totally take the bell back…
But what’s done is done and hopefully we have a better time next year so we can take the bell home (:

Up above it states that EHS has won 26 times and FVHS has won 12 (which equals 38); however, there have been 39 games played??? Somebody isn’t doing their math homework. Hmmm… You all fail.
Actually, if you read the statistics, the 1974 game ended 0-0 which is a tie. 39 games, 12 wins for FV, 26 wins for EHS and 1 tie – the math is perfectly correct.
