julie1Every once in a while, the Baron Banner chooses a random FVHS student to interview. Here, freshman Julie King gives us a little slice of her life.

Baron Banner: What grade are you in?

Julie King: I’m a freshman.

BB: Any favorite food?

JK: Salt water taffy.

BB: That’s cool. So what are your hobbies?

JK: I love reading, playing the piano, surfing, making films, photography, and running.

BB: So what’s your family life like?

JK: I love hanging out and eating together with my family and friends.

BB: What do you do best?

JK: I think I’m really good at talking to people and putting on a show.

BB: Any aspirations in your life?

JK: I want to get a well paying job so someday, I can put my kids through college.

BB: What or who are you inspired by?

JK: I’m inspired by all of the successful people who’ve come from nothing and became something.

BB: How do you feel about freshman life?

JK: Great! I love having upperclassmen in my classes and getting to know new people.

BB: High school usually comes with stress. How do you handle it?

JK: I usually just exercise or take a few hours to myself.

BB: What do you see in your future?

JK: I hope to go to college and travel the world with one of my close friends.

BB: What do you fear?

JK: I fear the world having some tragic disaster like in the movie The Day after Tomorrow.

BB: Any embarrassing moment?

JK: One time I was in Costco and I was taking free samples from the same lady [twice] and she yelled at me in front of everyone in the aisle.

BB: Do you have trouble in any of your classes this year, and if so, what class?

JK: I would have to say that Geometry is really hard.

BB: Well, that’s all we have for you. Thank you!

JK: You’re welcome.
