Congratulations to seniors Nicole Quang and Rachel Sunico. These talented girls were voted as seniors of the month of February for contributing to our school in leadership and sports, as well as being dedicated students.

BB: What was your first reaction when you realized you were chosen as Senior of the Month?
NQ: The night before I found out, I had a dream that I didn’t make it as a Senior of the Month. It was mortifying because I really wanted this honor. The following day, Rachel approached me and relayed that she and I were seniors of the month for February. I was shocked and joyous. I felt like I was walking in mid-air.
BB: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities or contribute to the school in any manner?
NQ: Yes I have. I’ve partaken in clubs such as CSF, Kiwins, Key Club, FV Red Cross, Junior Commission, Senior Commission, and Future Business Leaders of America. I’ve also played tennis for four years and received my varsity letterman this year. I am also responsible for the planned newspaper drive for the AP Environmental Science fundraiser.
BB: What is the most memorable moment you\’ve had at FVHS?
NQ: My most memorable moment(s) would be experiencing the stress level rise in junior year and witnessing it pay off in senior year. Junior year taught me organization and setting priorities and responsibility.
BB: What are your plans for after high school?
NQ: After high school, I will be pursuing a major in chemistry in order to meet prerequisites in becoming a pharmacist.
BB: Do you have any advice to give the underclassmen before they too graduate?
NQ: I would like to say this quote to all underclassmen: “Be like the postage on a package. Stick to it until you get there.” Life projects dismaying obstacles, but as long as you pursue your goals with an optimistic view, you will succeed.

BB: What was your first reaction when you realized you were chosen as Senior of the Month?
RS: I was confused. Mukta Mohan told me that she just put my picture up and I didn\’t understand what she meant. Then I saw it and was embarrassed.
BB: Do you participate in any extracurricular activities or contribute to the school in any manner?
RS: Yes, I was in the cross country team all four years in high school.
BB: What is the most memorable moment you\’ve had at FVHS?
RS: Everyday is pretty memorable.
BB: What are your plans for after high school?
RS: I might want to become a physical therapist.
BB: Do you have any advice to give the underclassmen before they too graduate?
RS: Take deadlines seriously.
