Here are your morning announcements for Monday, May 3rd, 2010:

Get ready Barons, it is STAR Test MONTH! On May 18, we will initiate the STAR Test series with a modified schedule to facilitate the 10th grade Science test. On May 19 and May 20, grades 9,10, and 11 will take standardized exams in their period three classroom. Teachers will give out raffle prizes in every class, classes with 100% attendance will be entered into a drawing for a pizza party, and our school will astound the HBUHSD by achieving the 880 API target goal. We will continue to dominate the competition that has formally challenged us to an API “throw down.” Maintaining the top API score in our school district is a Baron Standard.

On May 13, we will have an assembly schedule. This format is structured to allow period three teachers to review the testing schedule with students and review past scores. Everyone will set goals for individual improvement and school wide we will work together to achieve the 880 target goal.
