Here are your morning announcements for Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010:
Jamba Juice will be on campus selling smoothies today.
Hey class of 2010! This Thursday, June 3rd Senior Commission will be having a T-shirt and tie-dye event in the bowl after 6th period. T-shirts and tie dye is only $10! If you only want a shirt, they are on sale for $8.
Seniors, great news! We\’re extending Disneyland Grad Night ticket sales another 2 weeks! So get your permission slips in the Activities office and bring your $65.00 cash this Thursday to the cafeteria during lunch. Celebrate your last night as a FVHS senior with all your friends at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Attention ladies!! Are you interested in playing field hockey this coming fall? Please attend a mandatory meeting in Coach Marr’s room, 224 during lunch tomorrow, June 3rd. If you can’t attend the meeting but would like to play field hockey please see Coach Marr.
The PTSA annual membership drive is underway. Students, Teachers, Parents and Community Members – send in your membership forms this week. Get connected with the PTSA!
Don\’t forget to order your final transcript for college. Forms are available at the Registrar\’s Office in the Administration building.
Just a reminder that the Financial Office is only accepting CASH now!
Attention Seniors – Check the list at the Financial Office to see if you have any outstanding old textbook charges. These must be taken care of before graduation tickets will be issued. Just a reminder that all detentions, library fines, and misc. charges must be taken care of as well. Avoid all of the problems later, take care of it today! Remember, we only take CASH!!
The Fountain Valley High School Drama Department presents their last production of the year- 12 Angry Jurors. Tickets are available at the Finance Office before school and at lunch. Performances are $8 for students: Thursday, Friday & Saturday @ 7pm in room 309. SPACE IS LIMITED so act fast.
The Vocal Music Program’s final concert of the year – DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING! Our annual Broadway extravaganza takes place this weekend at the Rose Center Theater in Westminster. Tickets are on sale today during 1st period and from 12-1:30pm and again tomorrow from 12-1:30pm. There are 3 full performances – one Friday night and two on Saturday afternoon. There’s also a special STUDENT MATINEE on Friday at 4:00 – just for students and ONLY $1 per person. You will get to watch the 1st half of our concert, then make plans to return for a full performance and witness the talent and magic of our Troubadours as they own the stage for the 2nd half. YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS GETTING YOUR RESERVED SEAT FOR ONLY $5! You will experience singing and dancing from Hairspray, Ragtime, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek the Musical, Glee and many, many more. (By the way….Glee doesn’t have anything on us!!)
The Senior Breakfast will be Monday, June 14th from 8:30-10 AM in the Cafeteria. This first-come, first served breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, fruit, and sausage. Tickets are on sale now for $4.00 at the financial office. Don\’t stand in line twice Seniors, buy your breakfast ticket when you pick up your graduation tickets.
Aloha, Seniors! The senior luau will be next Wednesday, June 9th from 4-7 pm on the FVHS pool deck. Get your yearbook early, swim, hang out and maybe win a raffle prize. Make sure you bring a couple bucks for the Taco Dawg truck. This free event is for graduating seniors only. Only students with a valid school ID can get in.
