Emily Chu

Emily Chu was born in Garden Grove, California. As this year’s Baron Banner layout designer, Emily is so dedicated that she has already roped her brother into the staff. Fluent in Chinese, Emily takes great interest in the arts. She is intensely involved in the large art department of FVHS.

One can find Emily sometimes driving in her free time. After receiving her license last year, she has soaked up every moment she can behind the wheel. This allowed her to enjoy a vast amount of freedom the summer before her senior year! Emily spent much of it hanging out with her friends and relaxing in a Palos Verdes resort.

Like many others, Emily joined Baron Banner as sophomore to meet new people and refine her designing talents. After three years on the Baron Banner team, her hard work has paid off, as this experience has made her realize that she has a passion for web designing. In fact, Emily hopes to major in graphic designing in the next chapter of her education.

The diverse Emily is head over heels for the color blue — in every shade. She has no pets and has never had a pet in her whole life. Emily loves the TV show The Office and her favorite movie of all time is Up.  ”I’m looking forward to a fun and relaxing senior year,” says Emily with a smile, “and college is definitely something I’m looking forward to.”
