Noushin Ahdoot
By Dorothy Nguyen
Witty, succinct, and perspicacious, Noushin Ahdoot has a cogent way with words. She is currently a junior at FVHS.
As an assiduous AP student and president of both MUN and Habitat for Humanity, Noushin still manages to find time for her favorite activities: reading books, writing, watching her favorite show, trolling friends, eating food, and watching movies. Out of all the movies she\’s watched this summer, Battle of Algiers and The Man Who Knew Too Little were her favorites.
Despite all her activities, Noushin still manages to keep her head, and the pressure doesn\’t seem to faze her. Confidently put, “How do I deal with stress? Stress deals with me.”
John Steinbeck tops Noushin\’s list of inspirational people. In fact, she often dreams of conversing with the Pulitzer-prize winning American author in sunny beaches located in Baja California. However, Noushin also adulates Amy Sedaris from Strangers with Candy, Noushin\’s favorite TV show.
She enjoys listening to rock music and obscure bands, but Noushin firmly denies being a hipster. Noushin considers discovering her favorite TV show, listening to her question answered on the radio, and embarrassing herself in front of friends among her greatest achievements. Favoring hues and shades over basic colors, Nousin loves the color turquoise.
Noushin\’s writing career probably won\’t end upon her graduation from FVHS. She aspires to become a freelance writer under the pseudonym Indigo Don Pedro de Plume. An adventurer at heart, her future goals aren\’t limited to suburban Orange County, California.
Noushin hopes to be able to study somewhere along the East Coast or in the San Francisco Bay area for college. As for post-college plans, she aims someday to visit every continent on the planet. However, preferring the warmer, urban metropolis to icy, rural isolation, Noushin does not include Antarctica in her future travel plans.
