Christine Tran
By Nhi Tran
Christine Tran is a senior at FVHS. She was born in New Orleans, LA, and moved to Fountain Valley five years ago. In between, she lived in a luxurious igloo in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When Christine isn\’t dedicating her time to her AP classes, she enjoys very short walks on the beach and spontaneously bursting into song. This is her second year as a member of the Baron Banner, which she joined to meet new people and for the simple sake of trying something new.
In addition to being on Baron Banner, Christine is also captain of Mock Trial and president of National Honors Society. This will be her fourth year on the Mock team, and second serving as an attorney.
When she’s not laying down the gavel or standing behind a podium that is much too tall for her 5’2″ frame, you can find this FV Baron volunteering at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. “I don’t like the way hospitals smell,” she says, “but it’s nothing when I’m with the kids.”
If Christine could choose one place to live for the rest of her life, she would choose Barnes and Noble. She also loves to collect a variety of books, including classical ones that “make [her] look smarter.” Her favorite book is Fahrenheit 451 and she adores heartfelt and tear-jerking movies. Christine is a lover of ducks, and a hater of the color gray.
Some time in her life, Christine would like to learn Italian and Latin, and visit Rome and Vatican City. But for the time being, her educational goal in life is “to get out of high school in one piece.” It’s a hefty goal, but this Baron should do just fine.
