A graduate of FVHS, he received his B.A. in English from Brigham Young University, his M.F.A. in Creative Writing: Fiction from the University of Utah, and his teaching credential from National University. An English instructor at FVHS, Mr. Ziebarth especially likes to teach American literature and The Odyssey.

Mr. Ziebarth\’s other interests include biking, bodysurfing, and fishing. He once caught a 35-pound king salmon in the Deshka River in Alaska. One of his favorite pastimes is eating, and he enjoys an eclectic platter of foods, including Mexican food, hamburgers, sushi, and Thai cuisine. Mr. Ziebarth is an avid music fan as well. He listens to all kinds of music, including punk, electronic, and hip-hop and hosts a weekly radio show on Wednesday nights.
