Alex Nguyen

Alex Nguyen is a sixteen year old senior at Fountain Valley High School. He keeps himself busy by being an extremely active member of various clubs like KIWIN\’S, NHS, Senior Commission, and Make-A-Wish. When alex isn\’t dedicating his time to club activities, he can be found in the pool representing FVHS boys swim or working hard in his many rigorous AP courses.

Alex doesn\’t have much leisure time, but on those rare occasions, he likes to paint, doodle, eat delicious food, hang out with his family, or play with his dog, Max, who is two years old. Doodling and walking on the beach with his family helps him take a break from all of his demanding classes, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Although he is usually occupied with his academic and social life, he is never too busy to swim some laps in the pool. When swim isn’t in season, he swims year-round with NOVA Swim Club. Alex is also an assistant coach of Greenbrook Gators Swim Team during the summer. Not only does he enjoy swimming but has interests in other sports like badminton and volleyball.

Despite appearances, Alex’s talents are not exclusive to only athletics but instruments as well. He likes to play around with the piano, violin, and guitar on his spare time. He has an eclectic taste for music, but mostly listens to pop music.

This is Alex\’s first year as a member of the Baron Banner. He joined the Baron Banner because writing is a passion of his and he wants to explore his talent and abilities with it. This year he wants to work hard and deliver great articles and photos for the Baron Banner.
