Carmille Garcia joined Baron Banner this year as a sophomore.

Outside of school, Carmille is on the cross country and track team.  Her goal this year is to go to state and make it to nationals with her team. When running, she experiences a “runner’s high,” which is when one feels focused, determined, and his or her mind shuts everything out.  Her favorite race was at Dana Hills when it rained the entire race.

Her hobbies include going to the beach and going on vacations with her family.  One of her favorite vacations was going to Oregon and driving back along the California coast.

Carmille would like to go to UCLA and major in journalism or photography.
