Jackie Liu

At her request, information on where incoming sophomore Jackie Liu was born will not be divulged. However, let it be known that her favorite subject is English, and she enjoys reading and writing enough to be a part of this fine newspaper for a second year.

She\’s quick to mention that she doesn\’t have a favorite amusement park, insisting that they\’re overrated. Her idea of true entertainment includes television shows like Friends, Jersey Shore, and Dance Moms and Youtube channel kevjumba. Her favorite book is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, and she paints a lovely picture of herself singing along with favorite band Florence + the Machine.

Jackie\’s travels outside the US have been exclusively in Asia; she\’s visited Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In the future, she hopes to add Australia to the list of places she\’s been.  Though she doesn\’t have any set plans for after school, she anticipates getting more into writing after attending college.
