Tracy Nguyen
by Wade Sias
Tracy Nguyen is a 17 year old girl, stuck right in the middle of 2 siblings. Born and raised in Fountain Valley, Tracy spends her afternoons racking up dough in the Metro Pointe movie theatre. As a first-time writer for the Baron Banner, Tracy is full of fresh ideas — focusing on entertainment and publication photography.
Tracy is a very accomplished student, taking plenty of AP classes to fill up her time and schedule. She is also heavily involved on campus, participating in clubs such as NHS, Operation Smile, and Kiwins — to name a few. Tracy\’s college goals include possible majors in Biological Sciences or Psychology, but she hasn’t left any artistic options completely out of the picture. Her dream is to become a UCLA Bruin in the fall of 2012.
As a supportive friend and colleague, Tracy asks that if anyone has any tips, comments, or special interest to contact her. She appreciates student response and preference in terms of music. Her intent is to reach out to the diverse population of FVHS.
Tracy enjoys Mexican food, The Big Bang Theory, and drawing in her spare time. She avidly reads photography magazines to develop her photo skills, and maintains a blog at http://monsoonfotolog.blogspot.com. Her favorite author is Chuck Palahnuik and loves his quote, “God kills us when we get boring, so we must never be boring.”
Tracy Nguyen lives to epitomize that quote. Baron Banner is proud to welcome her as an oncoming staff writer.
