He and his band, the Sussex Wit, have been active for almost 4 years, playing a folk-rock sound with the help of banjo and violin among other instruments. Johnny’s mature and unique voice blend with the soft blues tones, with clever and optimistic lyrics to match.

The band not only looks incredibly stylish, but also puts on a great show. They use all of the instruments you’d expect to find in a traditional rock band but also include a piano, xylophone, synthesizer, and occasionally the autoharp and glockenspiel as well, making their music sound a little more eclectic.
